Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline seeks a Field-based Patient Access Manager to serve as the single point of contact for providers, patients, and caregivers across the Oncology portfolio. You will guide onboarding, access, and ongoing treatment journey, including enrollment in PAP and collaboration with back-office teams for coverage and payments.

The role emphasizes HIPAA compliance, documentation, and education on coverage outcomes, integrating program rules and approved materials.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree is required.
3+ years of experience in field reimbursement, hub case management, patient experience programs, or insurance navigation.
Willingness to travel up to 20%, including overnights.
Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

Serve as SPOC for patients, caregivers, and HCP staff with approved information on oncology care and coverage.
Educate on payer coverage, coding, and payment policies; assist with benefit investigations and prior authorizations.
Document interactions and manage cases in Salesforce Health Cloud / CRM per program standards.
Coordinate with Pharmacy, Medical Information, and other teams to support patient access and enrollment.
Maintain HIPAA/privacy compliance and separate patient-facing from account-facing activities.
