Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a Patient Access Manager to act as the field-based single point of contact for patients, caregivers, and providers within the Oncology portfolio. You will guide onboarding, access, and ongoing treatment journey, ensuring compliant, timely access and coordinating across back-office and payer teams.

The role emphasizes enrollment support, coverage discussions, and reimbursement navigation with strong HIPAA compliance and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• 3+ years of experience in field reimbursement, hub case management, patient experience programs, insurance verification, prior authorization, or access criteria.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% including overnights.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the SPOC for patients, caregivers and HCPs, educating on oncology care and program resources.
• Support patient enrollment in PAP and guide through enrollment requirements and consent capture.
• Educate on coverage outcomes, cost-sharing and financial assistance options.
• Document interactions and manage cases in Salesforce Health Cloud, maintaining compliance and HIPAA.
• Coordinate with payer managers, specialty pharmacy, and oncology sales within program guidelines.
