Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline seeks a field-based Patient Access Manager to be the single point of contact for patients and caregivers within the Oncology portfolio, guiding enrollment, access, and ongoing support through the treatment journey.

You will educate patients on coverage, assist with prior authorization, and coordinate with specialists to resolve access barriers while maintaining strict compliance and documentation across program systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years of experience in field reimbursement, hub case management, patient experience programs, or helping patients and providers navigate insurance verification, prior authorization requirements, and access criteria.
• Ability to travel up to 20%, including overnights.
• Active RN license and BSN or other advanced clinical/business degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as field-based SPOC for patients, caregivers, and HCP staff, providing approved information on oncology care, benefit discussions, and program resources.
• Educate patients on coverage, cost-sharing, and financial assistance options and guide enrolment in GSK services.
• Coordinate with Specialty Pharmacy, Medical Information, GSK Response Center, REMS vendors, and Benefits Specialists for patient support and tracking.
• Document all interactions in Salesforce Health Cloud / CRM and follow program SOPs and compliance guidelines.
• Maintain HIPAA privacy and ensure separation between patient-facing and account-facing activities.
• Provide program-specific treatment education via approved guides and ensure consent status is verified before interactions.
