Job summary

Merck is seeking an Oncology Sales Representative in the Nashville area to drive sales, educate key stakeholders, and expand customer partnerships. You will collaborate with teammates to understand practice dynamics and deliver patient-centered messaging for oncology products.

Candidates should have 6+ years of sales experience or 8+ years in healthcare, with oncology exposure preferred. Travel is required, with national meetings and regional visits part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of sales experience or equivalent healthcare/oncology background preferred.
• Experience in oncology sales or related clinical field is strongly preferred.
• Willingness to travel and drive as needed.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed assigned sales goals within the Nashville territory.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders and understand practice structures and business models.
• Communicate patient-centered value of oncology products to clinicians and healthcare teams.
• Analyze market dynamics, identify trends, and develop strategic short- and long-term plans.
• Collaborate with the Oncology Customer Team Leader and district manager to optimize outcomes.
• Travel for customer visits and national meetings as required.
