Merck is seeking an Oncology Sales Representative to grow revenue in the Nashville, Tennessee territory. You will engage with customers to educate on Oncology products, build relationships with key stakeholders, and drive sales goals in a field-based role with national travel opportunities.

The role requires 2+ years of oncology field sales experience or related healthcare background, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel up to 25%.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree plus 6+ years of sales experience or strong healthcare/industry background with oncology exposure.
• Travel willingness including overnight travel 10–15% as part of the role.
• Must reside in or near the district to cover Nashville, TN geography.

• Achieve or exceed assigned sales goals for the geography.
• Collaborate with territory counterparts to ensure a seamless customer experience within the Oncology organization.
• Communicate patient-centered rationale for Oncology products to key stakeholders.
• Understand cancer treatment pathways and guidelines to discuss options with customers.
• Analyze buying environment trends across multiple distribution channels.
• Review patterns in products purchased and prescribed in outpatient vs inpatient settings.
• Develop and execute short- and long-term plans with local team and district manager.
• Ask insightful questions to understand customer priorities and needs for relevant conversations.
• Ensure consistent customer experience and share learnings with the Customer Team Leader and Account Manager.
