Job summary

Gymdesk is seeking an Onboarding Specialist to work remotely in North America. You will configure the platform for new customers, coordinate data migrations with our migration team, and train staff so day one feels like day one hundred.

This is a high-volume, high-trust role partnering with 40 to 50 customers monthly across phone, email, and video. You will communicate clearly in English, work with cross-functional teams, and become a product expert on new features.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in onboarding, training, customer service, or project management.
• Excellent English speaking and writing skills; clear, confident communication.
• Motivated by helping customers succeed and achieving their wins.
• Comfortable coordinating with cross-functional teams and using Excel.
• Proven ability to manage multiple onboarding projects without dropping work.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational habits and CRM proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Project manage onboarding for a full book of customers from signed to setup to self-sufficient.
• Coordinate data migration with migration team to land data on schedule before launch.
• Configure Gymdesk to match each customer’s actual operations, not templates.
• Train customers and staff on Gymdesk features critical to daily use.
• Deliver a memorable launch experience: efficient, personal, and helpful.
• Provide customer feedback to Product to shape future releases.
• Identify friction early and escalate issues to prevent churn.
• Collaborate with VP of Customer Success to scale onboarding systems.
