Job summary

ABB is hiring an OEM Business Development Manager for Industrial Machinery, remote in the United States. You will drive new business development with OEMs in ABB's Motion Drive Products portfolio, focusing on VFDs, micro drives, PLCs, and HMIs, and lead strategic growth plans.

The role requires 8+ years of relevant experience, a engineering-related degree, strong Salesforce and Excel skills, and the ability to travel 50-75% across the US.

Qualifications

8+ years of relevant experience or 10+ with an associate degree.
Proven business development and sales experience in drives, motors, automation, or related industrial solutions.
Experience with ABB or comparable portfolios including VFDs, automation solutions, micro drives, PLCs, and HMIs.

Responsibilities

Drive new business development and solution sales for ABB's Motion Drive Products with OEMs in industrial machinery segments.
Develop and execute 1-3 year growth strategies for targeted OEM accounts and map decision-makers.
Own account planning, pipeline development, forecasting, and CRM in Salesforce with cross-functional collaboration.
Monitor industry trends and translate market needs into actionable growth plans.
