Job summary

ABB is hiring an OEM Business Development Manager for Industrial Machinery, remote in the United States. You will drive new business development with OEMs across ABB's Motion Drive Products portfolio, including VFDs, micro drives, PLCs and HMIs, and lead 1-3 year growth plans for targeted accounts.

The role requires 8+ years in BD with OEM markets, travel 50-75%, strong Salesforce/Excel skills, and ability to map decision makers and negotiate contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field with 8+ years experience.
• Proven BD and sales experience in drives, motors, automation, or related solutions.
• Success hunting for new business, developing account strategies, and growing revenue.
• Experience with ABB or comparable portfolios including VFDs, automation solutions, micro drives, PLCs, and HMIs.
• Knowledge of OEM business models and machinery applications.
• Strong Salesforce, Excel, PowerPoint, and Office skills; excellent communication and planning.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business development and solution sales for ABB's Motion Drive Products to OEMs.
• Develop and execute 1-3 year growth strategies for targeted OEM accounts.
• Own account planning, pipeline, forecasting, and CRM in Salesforce with cross-functional partners.
• Monitor industry trends and translate market needs into actionable growth plans.
