Job summary

Placements24 client, a critical infrastructure provider in telecommunications, is seeking a vigilant Telecoms NOC Analyst to join remotely. You will monitor, diagnose, and resolve network issues to ensure high availability and performance in a 24/7 environment.

The role requires strong understanding of network monitoring tools, excellent troubleshooting, and clear communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a technical field is a plus.
• Proven experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC) or IT support role.
• Strong networking concepts: TCP/IP, SNMP, BGP.
• Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools.
• Ability to work remotely in a 24/7 shift environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network performance and uptime using monitoring tools.
• Identify, analyze, and respond to alerts promptly.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents per defined procedures.
• Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support or engineering teams.
• Document network events, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in tickets.
• Perform routine health checks and proactive maintenance.
• Communicate network status to internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to NOC procedures and documentation.
• Participate in shift rotations to ensure continuous coverage.
