Placements24 is seeking a remote Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer to monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain the reliability of enterprise network services in a fully remote role. You will respond to alerts, perform root-cause analysis, and collaborate with multiple teams to resolve incidents quickly.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in a NOC or network monitoring role, solid TCP/IP knowledge, and experience with SolarWinds/Zabbix/Nagios.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT or related field or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years in a NOC or network monitoring role.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols (BGP/OSPF).
• Experience with network monitoring tools like SolarWinds, Zabbix, Nagios.
• Ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues and work remotely.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong analytical skills.
• Comfort with rotating night/weekend shifts; relevant certs are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor network performance and availability using NOC tools and dashboards.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve network incidents and outages promptly.
• Respond to system alerts and escalations from monitoring systems.
• Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues.
• Collaborate with Level 2/3 support and field operations as needed.
• Document events, steps taken, and resolutions clearly.
• Maintain and update network documentation and procedures.
• Participate in shift rotations for 24/7 coverage.
• Contribute to improvements in monitoring tools and processes.
• Ensure SLAs for incident response and resolution are met.
