Job summary

Novartis is seeking a Territory Account Specialist to support key accounts across a defined geography. This field-based role combines remote work with extensive travel, requiring strong account management and clinical product knowledge to drive access and patient outcomes.

You will partner with field teams and HQ, develop territory plans, and deliver omni‑channel outreach to healthcare providers. Travel 60–80% and a valid driver’s license are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required from 4-year college or university.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or similarly structured industries with large, geographically dispersed sales teams in the last 5 years.
• Proven track record of high performance in selling to large accounts.
• Self-starter with analytic abilities and ethical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Navigate and resolve challenges within accounts to tailor solutions.
• Build a strategic territory plan aligning priorities to drive demand and patient outcomes.
• Partner with territory teammates and home-office to address customer needs and provide access support.
• Apply market knowledge and cross-functional dynamics to address opportunities with agility.
• Use territory data and trends to uncover insights and lead customer engagements—virtual or in person.
• Facilitate planning sessions across functions to meet customer needs with urgency.
• Deliver real-time access support with Patient Specialty Services.
• Harness omni-channel strategies for outreach to healthcare providers.
