Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Territory Manager for CPT in Jacksonville, FL, part of the Neuromodulation division. You will lead regional sales strategy to achieve planned objectives in sales volume, market penetration, and profitability within a matrixed team.

The role emphasizes collaboration with physicians, support staff, and customers to expand Abbott therapies in the territory. The position requires 8+ years in medical device sales, 4+ years in Neuromodulation, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field - an equivalent combination of education and workexperience.
• 8+ years of sales experience in medical devices.
• 4+ years of work experience in Neuromodulation.
• Ability and willingness to travel within assigned area on a regular basis.
• Capable and willing to work an unpredictable schedule that may change on short notice.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels and to large groups within and outside the organization
• Capable of managing multiple projects and accustomed to tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Identify strategies to increase referrals of Abbott therapies and overcome barriers restricting national growth.
• Integrate into accounts, build trust, and establish strong rapport with new and existing customers, KOLs, and industry leaders.
• Generate additional sales revenue in the assigned region by initiatives targeting referrals of eligible patients.
• Exercise latitude in determining technical objectives of work assignments.
• Train and mentor new Territory Managers.
• Collect and study information about new and existing products; monitor competitor sales, prices and products.
• Ensure prompt follow-up of sales leads, investigate complaints, and complete standard reports.
