Job summary

Abbott Laboratories is seeking a Territory Manager III to lead sales efforts in the Neuromodulation portfolio within a geographically diverse region. You will develop and execute plans to exceed revenue and market penetration goals while collaborating with cross-functional teams and clinical specialists.

The role requires 5+ years of medical device sales experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to travel at least 25% of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or four years of relevant work experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree.
• 5+ years of successful sales experience, preferably in medical device industry.
• Well organized and capable of juggling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines.
• Excellent personal computer skills including MS Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point.
• Ability to travel a minimum of 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Identifies strategies to increase referrals of Abbott therapies and overcome barriers to national growth.
• Integrates into accounts, builds trust, and establishes rapport with customers and KOLs.
• Generate additional sales revenue in assigned region by initiatives to increase referrals.
• Exercises considerable latitude in determining the technical objective of work assignments.
• Trains new Territory Managers.
• Collects and studies information about products and monitors competitor sales, prices and products.
• Ensures prompt follow-up of sales leads and timely filing of standard reports.
• Fosters high-trust relationships with colleagues and leadership.
• Coordinates implanting schedules of aligned Territory Managers and Clinical Specialists.
• Interfaces with patients up to 50% of the time.
• Analyses sales statistics, prepares reports, and handles travel planning.
