Job summary

11:11 is seeking a Network Operations Engineer for 24/7 monitoring and support of our global network infrastructure. The role focuses on connectivity solutions and managed network services, requiring strong hands-on technical skills and excellent written and verbal communication.

The engineer will work remotely from the United States, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and report to the Manager, Network Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent 5+ years of related work experience.
• Hands-on troubleshooting with network devices and firewalls.
• Experience in 24/7 operations and incident ownership.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with configuration, installation, maintenance, and upgrades of firewall devices (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto).
• Support customer networks and assist with network expansion and hardware refresh.
• Implement configurations in line with security policies and best practices.
• Troubleshoot SD-WAN, MPLS, wired/wireless connectivity and firewall/load balancer issues.
• Manage Cradlepoint devices via NetCloud Manager (onboarding, provisioning, firmware upgrades).
• Provide break/fix support and change management for Cradlepoint deployments.
• Deliver multi-layered technical support through the Network Operations Center.
• Review anomalies and escalate as needed; maintain ownership until resolution.
• Liaise with customers, vendors, and third parties to troubleshoot.
• Accurately track issues and provide timely progress updates.
