Job summary

ICE Clear Europe Limited is seeking a Network Operations professional to provide 24x7 support for the organization’s global production network. You will proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and coordinate with Engineering to ensure service reliability and performance.

The role involves incident and problem management, readiness for new services, change planning, and proactive maintenance, with weekend and off-hours support as required. A strong customer service mindset and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience or 6+ years in lieu of educational credentials.
• Certification at or above the Juniper JNCIS is preferred, although an equivalent Cisco CCNP certification is acceptable.
• Experience with routing protocols and concepts (OSPF, BGP, MPLS, Traffic Engineering, etc).
• Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, Layer 2 and 3 switching.
• Knowledge of multicast troubleshooting in a switch/routed network is preferred.
• Superior customer service skills are required.
• Ability to work in a team oriented environment is essential.
• Perform monitoring for new events to open incidents.
• Perform all levels of routine network analysis.
• Coordinate hot hands and other activities with vendors.
• Interact with advanced level engineering support.
• Develop and propose solutions for the knowledge base.
• Solid understanding of multicast and troubleshooting techniques.
• Working knowledge of how to use management tools.
• Weekend and off hours support is required.

Responsibilities

• Incident Management: Proactive monitoring to prevent outages and restore service when needed.
• Problem Management: Develop root cause analysis and troubleshooting procedures.
• Operational Readiness for New Services: Complete deployment checklists and ensure recovery procedures are in place.
• Change Management Planning and Configuration Implementation: Coordinate changes and support engineering tasks.
• Service Requests, Network Maintenance, and Operational Support: Execute analysis requests and support proactive maintenance.
• Process Improvement: Own initiatives to improve operational processes and tools.
