Job summary

11:11 Systems seeks a skilled Network Engineer, Service Delivery to help customers implement their services in 11:11's global cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience as a Cisco Network Engineer, preferably at a managed service or IaaS provider.

This is a full-time remote position with preference for candidates who can work Pacific Time business hours. You will report to the Manager, Service Delivery Engineering and deploy, manage, and troubleshoot

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
5+ years of hands-on Cisco network engineering in MSP/IaaS/cloud or enterprise environments.
CCNP/CCIE certification is preferred.
Strong knowledge of BGP, IPsec, VRFs, VLANs, switching and load balancers.
Experience with VMware NSX and virtualization clusters.

Responsibilities

Lead network deployment activities during customer onboarding and ensure delivery quality.
Document work in the ticketing system and maintain knowledge base articles.
Own responsibilities for 11:11’s cloud network systems and configurations.
Collaborate with project managers to complete tasks and milestones.
Manage and troubleshoot configurations including switches, firewalls, load balancers, and IPsec VPNs.
Design and architect network topologies for diverse environments.
Pursue advanced certifications and stay current with Cisco/VMware technologies.
Develop deployment processes as technologies and permissions change.
Assist Support and TAMs with complex customer issues.
Adhere to data handling policies and 11:11’s ethics and values.
