Job summary

Astreya is seeking a Network Engineer II for remote work supporting production and corporate networks. You will manage incidents end-to-end, monitor health, and coordinate with vendors to ensure service continuity.

The role requires flexible shifts, including weekends, and deep hands-on experience with WAN/LAN, routing, switching, and security technologies. Join a globally distributed team delivering reliable connectivity.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years’ related experience or equivalent
Experience with routing, switching, DNS, email, and virtualization technologies
CCNA or equivalent certification preferred

Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of defense for network incidents and provide 24x7 support
Troubleshoot L1–L3 issues and maintain WAN, BGP, ISIS, LAN, VLAN, STP and related services
Monitor network health, assess risks, and mitigate to ensure quick service restoration
Develop and update SOPs for network changes, incident analysis, and mitigation
Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, VPN endpoints
Perform network maintenance and upgrades and coordinate with ISPs/vendors
Collaborate across global production and corporate networks including edge, data center, and CDN infrastructures
Engage with vendors on hardware/software issues and service requests
Work hours may include evenings or weekends and weekend or swing shifts
