Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent 8+ years of experience.
- Extensive experience with OSI-based network troubleshooting using debug commands, packet captures, and routing/path analysis.
- Extensive experience with Cisco ASA/Firepower, Fortinet FortiGate, Cisco Nexus and Routers/Switches.
- Experience with SD-WAN design and troubleshooting (FortiGate SD-WAN).
- Experience with AWS networking services (VPC, Transit Gateway) and Cloudflare services for production environments.
Responsibilities
- Engineer, configure, install, maintain, and upgrade firewall devices (Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto).
- Plan network expansion by recommending designs, hardware, and connectivity solutions.
- Develop and review network designs to ensure security policy compliance.
- Provide multi-layered technical support via the Network Operations Center.
- Track issues in the ticketing system and communicate progress to customers.
