Job summary

ICE Clear Europe Limited is seeking a seasoned Network Operations professional to provide 24x7 support for the organization’s global production network infrastructure. You will engage with engineering and operations teams to proactively prevent outages, manage incidents, and drive reliability across complex routing and switching environments.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 5 years relevant experience or 10+ years in lieu.
Financial services industry experience preferred.
Certification at or above the Juniper JNCIS preferred, although an equivalent Cisco CCNP/CCIE certification is acceptable.
Solid knowledge and experience of multicast troubleshooting in a switch/routed network.
Experience with routing protocols and concepts (OSPF, BGP, MPLS, Traffic Engineering).
Advanced knowledge and inner-workings of TCP/IP, Layer 2 and 3 switching.
Position requires superior customer service skills; Leadership traits are highly helpful.
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment is essential; Weekend and off hours support is required.
Ability to grasp, document, and teach complex concepts and architecture; Develop and maintain domain expertise across network ecosystem.
Interact with advanced level engineering design and support solutions; Perform all levels of routine network analysis.

Responsibilities

Incident Management: proactive checks and monitoring to avoid outages and restore service when needed.
Problem Management: develop root-cause analyses and troubleshooting procedures.
Operational Readiness for New Services: complete pre-production checklists and ensure updated management for all components.
Change Management Planning and Configuration Implementation: coordinate changes at the CAB and support engineering tasks.
Service Requests and Network Maintenance: handle analysis requests and proactive maintenance activities.
Process Improvement: own tasks that deliver operational improvements to technology, processes, or tools.
