Job summary

Inserso is seeking Network Administrators to provide support to our DHS customers worldwide. This onsite and remote Tier 2 role requires prompt action and quick resolution of IT issues to minimize downtime.

You will join IT Field Operations to support 24x7 LANs, devices, backups, and end-users in a Service Desk environment, with after-hours on-call rotation and deployment activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and pass the DHS Employment Eligibility Verification process.
• Associate Degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of IT-related support experience, preferably through progressive technical roles.
• 3 years’ experience providing technical enterprise support within a large, complex organization.
• 1+ year experience in a lead technical role or supervisory position supporting a group of 5 or more.

Responsibilities

• Provide LAN administrator support with installation, configuration and maintenance of network devices, servers, and storage.
• Support networked devices including computers, printers, biometric devices, and sensors.
• Assist in testing, applying, and maintaining server configurations and security patches.
• Monitor ITSM (ServiceNow) assignment groups and resolve tickets.
• Provide daily, weekly, and monthly activity reports.
