Job summary

Inserso seeks Network Administrators to deliver onsite and remote Tier 2 support for DHS customers worldwide. You will handle LAN, server, backup, and security updates in a fast-paced environment, reporting to a Team Lead. The role requires independent work, strong communication, and a customer-first approach.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate degree, 5 years of IT support, and 1+ year in a lead role; ServiceNow experience is a plus. Expect travel and after-hours support as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and pass DHS verification.
• Associate Degree or equivalent experience.
• 5 years IT support experience in progressive roles.
• 3 years enterprise support in large organizations.
• 1+ year lead/ supervisory experience (5+ staff).
• Familiarity with ServiceNow and network hardware.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% and work after hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide LAN admin support including installation, configuration and maintenance of network devices.
• Support networked devices, printers, biometric/equipment, and sensors.
• Assists in server configurations and security patches.
• Monitor health of systems and backups; perform restore testing.
• Manage ServiceNow tickets and provide timely reporting.
• Deploy new equipment and provide deployment support.
• Cabling and physical layer work in data centers and wiring closets.
• Analyze requirements and design specifications for IT activities.
• Communicate clearly with customers and stakeholders; present briefing materials.
• Explore improvements to existing systems and participate in new IT projects.
