Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in the United States seeks a National Rental Customer Development Manager to manage a book of national rental accounts, retain and grow revenue, and achieve quotas. This 100% sales role focuses on profitability and wallet share, with travel to the West/Central regions and a remote-based position.

Base pay starts at $70,000 with uncapped commission. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing or equivalent experience and at least five years of proven sales

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business and/or Marketing or equivalent experience.
• Five years or more of experience in sales.
• Proven consecutive sales excellence in prior roles.
• Experience as Rental Manager, RAM, or BDM on lease side preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a book of approximately 100 top national rental accounts.
• Grow wallet share and revenue within assigned accounts.
• Develop sales plans and a communication plan for each account.
• Schedule and lead customer meetings and build relationships at all levels.
• Attend customer events and trade shows as applicable.
• Run annual business reviews with assigned customers.
