Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a National Rental Customer Development Manager to manage a book of national rental accounts and drive revenue growth. The role is 100% sales, focused on retention and wallet share, with travel across the West and Central regions. A remote base is preferred for this position.

You will nurture relationships with customers, develop strategic sales plans, and collaborate with Rental Account Managers to elevate team performance while achieving quotas.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of sales experience.
• Demonstrated quota achievement in prior roles.
• Prior Rental/Lease sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a book of ~100 top national rental accounts.
• Grow wallet share and revenue within assigned accounts.
• Develop sales and communication plans for each account.
• Lead customer meetings and build relationships at all levels.
• Attend customer events and trade shows as needed.
• Conduct annual business reviews with customers.
• Collaborate with RAMs to help them grow in sales roles.
