Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a National Rental Customer Development Manager to manage a book of national accounts, focus on retention and growth, and meet revenue quotas.

This is a remote role with significant travel, covering West and Central regions, with base pay plus uncapped commission and full benefits. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in sales, experience with rental accounts, and the ability to develop strategic plans and strong relationships across all levels of customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business and/or Marketing or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of sales experience with quota achievement.
• Experience as Rental Manager/RAM/BDM on lease side preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages ~100 top national rental accounts.
• Grows wallet share and revenue within assigned accounts.
• Develops sales and communication plans for each account.
• Leads customer meetings and builds relationships at all levels.
• Attends customer events and trade shows within the territory.
• Completes annual business reviews with accounts.
• Analyzes profitability and competitive risks in each account.
• Partners with RAMs to develop their skills.
