Job summary

Leica Biosystems, a Danaher company, is seeking a National Sales Director for Life Sciences to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and execute commercial strategies across the United States. You will build and lead a high-performing team, partner with Marketing, Product, and Service, and oversee major strategic opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 14+ years of progressive commercial leadership experience in life sciences or related markets.
• Proven track record leading sales teams and achieving revenue growth.
• Experience selling capital equipment, consumables, software, or complex solutions.
• Experience coaching and developing high-performing commercial teams.
• Ability to travel up to 60% domestically and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead a national Life Sciences Sales team to achieve revenue growth and market share expansion.
• Develop and execute national commercial strategies for target markets.
• Drive opportunity creation, key account penetration, and portfolio expansion.
• Shape compensation plans, territory design, and operating mechanisms.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, Operations, and Service to align investments.
• Build executive-level customer relationships with strategic accounts.
• Recruit, develop, and retain top commercial talent with accountability.
