Job summary

Pall Corporation, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Business Development Manager for North America to accelerate growth in Food & Beverage by acquiring new customers and reviving inactive accounts across the United States and Canada.

You will collaborate with engineering, operations, and procurement to identify filtration and separation needs and convert opportunities into recurring revenue streams, while building a strong pipeline and partnering with regional sales teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Food Science, or related field or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years of B2B sales or business development experience involving technical products, industrial equipment, or manufacturing solutions, with filtration experience preferred.
• Proven ability to prospect, develop, and acquire new industrial or manufacturing customers.
• Experience managing technical sales opportunities from qualification to negotiations and order conversion.
• Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM to manage opportunities, acquisition activities, and pipeline forecasts.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prioritize, and pursue prospective customers with no purchasing relationship to Pall, including previously inactive accounts, to expand the North America customer base.
• Develop and execute targeted customer acquisition and win-back strategies, including prospecting, relationship development, competitive assessments, and opportunity qualification.
• Engage engineering, operations, procurement, and other decision-makers to identify filtration and separation needs and craft technical and commercial solutions.
• Lead opportunities from initial engagement through evaluations, negotiations, and initial purchase orders with regional sales teams and technical specialists.
• Build and maintain a qualified new-business pipeline and provide market intelligence to support growth strategies.
