Job summary

Pall Corporation, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Business Development Manager – North America to accelerate growth in its Food & Beverage business across the US and Canada. You will acquire new customers, recover inactive accounts, and build recurring revenue streams.

This individual contributor role reports to the Director of Sales, North America – Food & Beverage, and supports the North America Sales team from a continental US base with remote coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years of B2B sales or business development involving technical products or manufacturing solutions, with filtration experience preferred.
• Demonstrated prospecting, development, and acquisition of new industrial customers.
• Experience managing opportunities from qualification to negotiation and order conversion.
• Experience using Salesforce or a comparable CRM to manage opportunities and forecasts.
• Willing to travel approximately 70% across the United States and Canada.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prioritize, and pursue prospective customers with no existing purchasing relationship to Pall, as well as previously lost or inactive accounts, to expand the North America customer base.
• Develop and execute targeted customer acquisition and win-back strategies, including prospecting, relationship development, competitive assessments, and opportunity qualification.
• Engage engineering, operations, procurement, and other decision-makers to identify filtration and separation needs and craft technical and commercial solutions.
• Lead new business opportunities from initial engagement through evaluations, negotiations, and orders, collaborating with regional teams to ensure smooth transitions.
• Build and maintain a qualified pipeline, track acquisition and conversion performance, and provide market intelligence to support growth strategies.
