Job summary

provencherandcompany is seeking experienced multi-line claims adjusters who can work remotely nationwide. The role requires handling both property and liability claims for commercial and residential losses, with knowledge of negligence assessment and coverage interpretation.

Candidates should have 5+ years of adjusting experience, possess or obtain a state adjuster license where required, and be proficient with Xactimate and MS Word.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years first-party commercial and/or residential property and liability adjusting experience.
• Strong time management and customer service skills.
• Experience taking recorded statements in field or with legal representatives.
• Experience preparing Statements of Loss, Proofs of Loss, and denial letters.
• Must have state adjuster’s license where required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct residential and commercial field property inspections using Xactimate to determine negligence and damages.
• Investigate claims by interviewing insureds, claimants, witnesses, and officials; assess damages.
• Recommend claim reserves based on investigation and well-supported reserve reports.
• Obtain and interpret official reports and review coverage forms and endorsements.
• Provide well-documented initial captions reports to clients and maintain quality per best practices.
