Job summary

Provencher & Company is seeking experienced Multi-Line Claims Adjusters who can work remotely and handle both property and liability claims for commercial and residential losses. The ideal candidate will adjust complex losses, determine negligence and damages, and manage statements and investigations with minimal supervision.

Candidates should bring 5+ years in first‑party claims, be licensed where required, and be proficient with Xactimate and MS Word.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years first-party commercial and/or residential property and liability adjusting experience.
• Proficiency with estimating software; Xactimate preferred.
• Working computer with internet access and MS Word.
• Strong time management and customer service skills.
• Ability to take statements in the field or with legal representatives.
• Experience preparing Statements of Loss, Proofs of Loss, and denial letters.
• State adjuster’s license where required; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Completes field property inspections for residential and commercial losses using Xactimate to determine negligence and damages.
• Investigate claims by obtaining statements from insureds, claimants, or witnesses and inspect damages.
• Recommend claim reserves based on investigations through supported reserve reports.
• Obtain and interpret official reports and assess coverage issues in initial reports.
• Review coverage forms and endorsements, providing analysis and documentation to clients.
• Maintain quality through adherence to client Best Practices.
