Job summary

Provencher & Company is recruiting multi-line claims adjusters who can work remotely nationwide in the United States. The role requires handling both property and liability claims, including commercial and residential losses, with knowledge of coverage, investigation, and claim valuation.

A working knowledge of estimation and reported losses is essential. Applicants should have at least 5 years of first-party experience, a valid license where required, and the ability to conduct field

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years first-party commercial and/or residential property and liability adjusting experience.
• State adjuster’s license where required; must demonstrate strong time management and customer service skills.
• Maintain own current estimating software; Xactimate preferred.
• Must have a working computer with internet access and Microsoft Word.

Responsibilities

• Completes residential and commercial field property inspections utilizing Xactimate and general liability investigations to determine negligence and damages.
• Investigate claims by obtaining statements from insureds, claimants or witnesses; interview officials and inspect damages.
• Recommend claim reserves based on investigation with a well-supported reserve report.
• Obtain and interpret official reports; review coverage forms and endorsements for issues.
• Provide thorough analysis of coverage and issues in initial captioned reports to client.
• Maintain quality by complying with Best Practices of client.
