Job summary

Provencher and Company is hiring multi-line adjusters to handle both property and liability claims remotely. You will assess commercial and residential losses, interpret coverage, and prepare loss documentation.

The role requires strong investigations, reporting, and customer service skills to support insurer clients nationwide. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in property/liability adjusting, familiarity with Xactimate, and licensure where required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of first-party commercial and/or residential property and liability adjusting experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of property and liability insurance coverage and industry standards.
• Ability to prepare Statements of Loss, Proofs of Loss, and denial letters.
• Ability to adjust both commercial and residential property losses and assess damages.

Responsibilities

• Complete residential and commercial field property inspections using Xactimate to determine negligence and damages.
• Investigate claims by obtaining statements from insureds, claimants or witnesses and inspect damages.
• Recommend claim reserves based on thorough investigations and well-supported reports.
• Review coverage forms and endorsements to provide clear analysis of coverage issues.
