Job summary

Provencher & Company is seeking experienced multi-line claims adjusters who can work remotely to handle both property and liability claims for residential and commercial losses.

Applicants should have at least 5 years of adjusting experience, strong investigation and reporting skills, and a valid license. The role includes detailed inspections, statements, and reserve recommendations with client-focused performance standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years first-party commercial and/or residential property and liability adjusting experience.
• Proficiency with Xactimate or similar estimating software.
• Must have a working computer with internet access and MS Word.
• Strong time management and customer service skills.
• Ability to take recorded statements in the field or with legal representatives.
• Experience in preparing Statements of Loss, Proofs of Loss, and denial letters.
• State adjuster license where required.
• Must have valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Completes residential and commercial field property inspections using Xactimate and general liability investigations to determine negligence and damages.
• Investigate claims by obtaining recorded statements from insureds, claimants or witnesses; by interviewing officials and inspecting damages.
• Recommend claim reserves based on investigation, through well supported reserve report.
• Obtain and interpret official reports.
• Review applicable coverage forms and endorsements, providing thorough analysis of coverage in initial captioned report to client.
• Maintain acceptable product quality through client Best Practices.
