Job summary

provencherandcompany is seeking experienced multi-line adjusters who can operate remotely to handle both property and liability claims for commercial and residential losses. The role requires strong knowledge of coverage, investigation procedures, and damage valuation with the ability to work with modest supervision.

Candidates should have at least 5 years of relevant adjusting experience, possess an active state license where required, and be proficient with Xactimate and Microsoft Word.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of first-party commercial and/or residential property and liability adjusting experience.
• Must maintain current estimating software; Xactimate preferred.
• Strong time management and customer service skills.
• Must have valid driver’s license and state adjuster’s license where required.
• Experience in preparing Statements of Loss, Proofs of Loss, and denial letters.

Responsibilities

• Completes property inspections for residential and commercial claims using Xactimate to determine negligence and damages.
• Investigate claims by obtaining statements from insureds, claimants, or witnesses and by interviewing officials.
• Recommend claim reserves based on investigation and documentation.
• Review coverage forms and endorsements and provide thorough analyses to clients.
• Maintain quality through compliance with client Best Practices.
