Job summary

provencherandcompany is seeking multi-line claims adjusters who can work remotely for commercial and residential property and liability claims nationwide. The role requires knowledge of adjusting property losses, determining negligence, and estimating damages with experience in statements of loss and denials.

Candidates must have 5+ years of first-party property and/or liability adjusting, own software like Xactimate, reliable internet, and a valid driver’s license; state license where required;

Qualifications

• Five years of first-party commercial and/or residential property and liability adjusting experience.
• Experience with Xactimate and familiarity with estimating software.
• Working computer, internet access and Microsoft Word required.
• Strong time management and customer service skills.
• Ability to take recorded statements in the field or with legal representatives.
• Experience in preparing Statements of Loss, Proofs of Loss and denial letters.
• State adjuster license where required; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Completes residential and commercial field property inspections using Xactimate and general liability investigations to determine negligence and damages.
• Investigate claims by obtaining recorded statements from insureds, claimants or witnesses; interview officials and inspect damages.
• Recommend claim reserves based on investigation via reserve reports.
• Obtain and interpret official reports.
• Review coverage forms and endorsements; provide thorough analysis in initial client reports.
• Maintain quality by adhering to client Best Practices.
