Job summary

Provencher & Company seeks multi-line claims adjusters capable of handling both property and liability claims with remote work flexibility. Candidates should manage commercial and residential losses, assess negligence, and value damages with minimal supervision.

Knowledge of coverage, statements, and loss documentation is essential. Requirements include at least 5 years of related adjusting experience, proficiency with Xactimate, reliable internet access, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years first-party commercial and/or residential property and liability adjusting experience.
• Maintain own current estimating software; Xactimate preferred.
• Working computer; internet access and Microsoft Word required.
• Strong time management and customer service skills.
• Must demonstrate ability to take recorded statements and prepare loss documents.

Responsibilities

• Completes field property inspections using Xactimate and general liability investigations to determine negligence and damages.
• Investigate claims by obtaining statements from insureds, claimants, or witnesses and inspect damages.
• Recommend claim reserves based on investigation with thorough reports.
• Obtain and interpret official reports and review coverage forms for issues.
• Maintain quality by following client Best Practices.
