The Landline Company is redefining travel by linking regional communities to major hubs with a growing maintenance-driven fleet operations program. This remote-friendly role leads the fleet maintenance function and partners with OEMs, vendors and dispatch to keep buses safe, compliant, and ready for service.

You will drive a data-led maintenance forecast, budget governance, and vendor negotiations while coordinating across multiple sites in a fast-moving startup environment.

Qualifikationen

• 5-10 years in transportation operations, logistics, aviation, fleet operations, or related consulting.
• A degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Supply Chain, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Strong data analytics skills (Excel required; SQL, Python, or BI tools like Tableau/Power BI a plus).
• Familiarity with Fleetio and/or Samsara.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for frontline staff.

Aufgaben

• Own the maintenance function with plan, vendors and data for the fleet, scaling to 100 motorcoaches.
• Build and maintain a rolling maintenance forecast aligned to OEM intervals and usage patterns.
• Maintain the maintenance budget with Finance, including updates and variance reporting.
• Coordinate unscheduled and corrective maintenance without disrupting service operations.
• Keep accurate service records in Fleetio and Samsara; track DVIR resolution and escalations.
• Plan and manage vehicle assignments, capacity risks, and retirements.
• Review and approve partner invoices, flag discrepancies, and track technician usage against budget.
• Plan quarterly reviews with key maintenance vendors.
