Zusammenfassung

The Landline Company is hiring a Fleet Manager to oversee maintenance, scheduling, budgeting, and supplier coordination for a growing 100-motorcoach fleet. You’ll manage Fleetio/Samsara data, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with OEMs and the dispatch team to optimize operations.

Ideal candidates bring 5-10 years in fleet/logistics, a strong data focus (Excel, SQL, Python, BI tools), and experience with Fleetio/Samsara.

Qualifikationen

• 5-10 years of experience in transportation operations, logistics, aviation, fleet operations, or similar field.
• A degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Strong data and analytical skills (Excel required; SQL, Python, or BI tools like Tableau/Power BI a plus).
• Familiarity with Fleetio and/or Samsara.
• Comfort using and recommending AI tools to move quickly across projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with frontline hourly staff.
• Six Sigma certification (Green Belt, Black Belt, etc.) is a nice-to-have.

Aufgaben

• Own the maintenance function with plan, vendors and data for our fleet, scaling to 100 motorcoaches.
• Build and maintain a rolling maintenance forecast aligned to OEM intervals and usage patterns.
• Maintain the maintenance budget with Finance and variance reporting.
• Coordinate unscheduled and corrective maintenance without disrupting service operations.
• Keep accurate service records in Fleetio and Samsara and elevate out-of-service conditions.
• Manage parts and consumables procurement and validate pass-through costs.
• Flag recurring issues or end-of-life vehicles using maintenance data.
• Represent Landline at external facilities and issue work orders.
• Schedule all planned and unplanned work and ensure buses are on time.
• Review and approve partner invoices and track budget usage.
• Plan quarterly reviews with key maintenance vendors.
• Provide SOC with real-time fleet readiness and constraints.
• Own Fleetio and Samsara as key users and manage IT interfaces.
• Plan and manage vehicle assignments and capacity risks for additions/retirements.
• Maintain vehicle files (registration, insurance, inspections, warranties).
• Coordinate warranty claims and technician training with OEM reps.
• Track TSBs, recalls and advise leadership on reliability and procurement.
• Provide advance notice of maintenance windows and outage estimates.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and keep audit-ready records.
