Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of mortgage underwriting experience with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• HUD Direct Endorsement (DE) and VA credit certifications are required.
• Proven track record in managing team performance and meeting productivity goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Mortgage Underwriters to achieve performance goals and conduct regular reviews.
• Oversee daily operations, workflow, and inventory distribution to ensure timely loan processing.
• Monitor quality scores and audit findings, coordinating with Risk, Compliance, and QA teams as needed.
• Review underwriting decisions exceeding authority levels and ensure adherence to investor guidelines.
