Job summary

Samsara is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a team of Account Executives II focused on mid-sized Private Sector organizations. You will hire, develop, and coach a diverse, high-performing group across the US.

This remote role is open to candidates in the US Central Time Zone. Relocation is not provided. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional partners to drive revenue and customer success while upholding Samsara’s growth mindset and inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership with at least two years in a leadership role.
• Track record of coaching a sales team on outbounding.
• Experience selling to mid-sized private sector organizations.
• Ability to navigate complex, multi-decision-maker sales cycles.
• Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
• Strong interpersonal and team management capabilities.
• Willingness to learn a unique industry and adapt quickly.
• Ability to forecast and manage existing pipeline accurately.

Responsibilities

• Coach a team of ~8 account executives on sales strategy and pipeline reviews.
• Hire and onboard new account executives; provide ongoing coaching.
• Work cross-functionally to solve problems and manage projects.
• Create training content and support professional development plans.
• Provide clear, tactical feedback to account executives.
• Strengthen team culture and collaboration across the organization.
• Embed Samsara’s cultural principles while scaling globally.
• Hire, develop, and lead an inclusive, high-performing team.
