Job summary

Samsara is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a group of Account Executives II focused on mid-sized Private Sector organizations. You will hire, coach, and develop a high-performing team in a remote role serving the US Eastern Time Zone, with relocation not provided.

You’ll mentor the team on sales strategy, cross-functional problem solving, and ongoing training, while ensuring targets are met and a culture of inclusion and growth is maintained.

Qualifications

• Two years of proven leadership.
• Strong track record of coaching a team on outbounding.
• Experience in complex sales cycles with multiple decision makers and products.
• Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
• Strong interpersonal and team management skills.
• Self-starter and adaptable to change.
• Growth mindset to learn a unique industry.
• Proven ability to provide upwards feedback to upper management.
• Ability to analyze and forecast existing pipeline.
• Experience working with cross functional teams.
• Proficient in SFDC, SalesLoft, Gong.

Responsibilities

• Coach a team of approximately eight account executives on sales strategy, pipeline reviews and quarterly targets.
• Hire new account executives and provide onboarding and coaching for growth.
• Work cross-functionally to strategically solve problems and project manage.
• Create content for ongoing training and development.
• Support account executives through professional development plans.
• Provide clear and tactical feedback to account executives.
• Foster Samsara’s cultural principles within the team and scale globally.
