Job summary

Mimecast Limited seeks an Account Executive, Mid-Market to identify and win new business across mid-size organizations (750-4,999 employees). This remote role is based in Oregon or Washington and requires building a qualified pipeline and managing opportunities through the full sales cycle.

You'll lead product demonstrations, coordinate with partners, and collaborate with marketing, sales engineering, and customer success to ensure a smooth handoff from prospect to onboarding.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of managing a full-cycle new business sales territory and meeting quota.
• Clear verbal and written communication connecting value to customer needs.
• Understanding of corporate IT teams, tech buying processes, and cybersecurity stack.
• Ability to build trust with buying committees and negotiate effectively.
• Experience using a CRM to manage leads and opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Research and prospect within the Mid-Market territory to identify opportunities and build a qualified pipeline.
• Develop and execute territory/account plans aligned with sales goals and manage opportunities through the full cycle.
• Lead product demonstrations and value-based presentations to mid-sized IT and security organizations.
• Collaborate with Partners/Channel Development and sales teams to expand pipeline coverage.
• Maintain accurate pipeline, activity, and forecast data in Salesforce.
