Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a detail-oriented Microsoft 365 Administrator to join our IT team. This fully remote role requires East Coast hours and a focus on reliability, security, and user support across the Microsoft 365 suite.

You will administer Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and related services, develop automation with PowerShell, and collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to deliver efficient, compliant solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Systems/Computer Science or related field.
Minimum 4 years of related experience in IT administration or Microsoft 365 environments.
Strong communication skills and ability to prioritize and collaborate in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Administer, maintain, and support Microsoft 365 services (Outlook, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams).
Troubleshoot and resolve end-user issues while meeting SLAs and documenting incidents and requests.
Develop PowerShell scripts to automate administration, reporting, and workflows across M365 services.
Monitor service health, security alerts, and usage trends to ensure reliable operations.
Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to implement improvements and maintain documentation.
