Job summary

American Red Cross seeks a detail-oriented Microsoft 365 Administrator for a fully remote role that can be based anywhere in the United States but requires East Coast hours. You will support and optimize Microsoft 365 services, develop automation with PowerShell, and collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure, reliable cloud environments.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of relevant experience, strong problem solving skills, and a solid grasp of cloud technologies within the Microsoft

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
• Minimum 4 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to apply technical expertise to resolve problems and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and support Microsoft 365 services across Outlook, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve end-user issues while meeting SLAs.
• Document incidents, requests, and changes per Change Management processes.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.
• Develop PowerShell scripts to automate administration and reporting across Microsoft 365 workloads.
• Monitor service health, security alerts, and usage trends.
