Job summary

The American Red Cross is hiring a detail-oriented Microsoft 365 Administrator for a fully remote role. The position supports the Microsoft 365 environment across the organization and requires working East Coast hours.

You will troubleshoot issues, automate tasks, and collaborate with IT teams to improve reliability and security. Ideal candidates have strong problem-solving skills and experience in Microsoft cloud technologies, PowerShell, and ITSM platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Minimum 4 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to prioritize and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and support Microsoft 365 services including Outlook, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of end-user issues, meeting SLAs.
• Manage incidents, service requests, and problem records through the Service Management platform.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours support.
• Develop PowerShell scripts and automation to streamline Microsoft 365 administration.
• Utilize Microsoft Graph and APIs to automate processes and integrate services.
• Monitor service health, security alerts, and usage trends across the Microsoft 365 environment.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and user guides.
