Job summary
American Red Cross is seeking a detail-oriented Microsoft 365 Administrator to join our IT team in a fully remote role, flexible across the United States but aligned to East Coast hours. You will support, troubleshoot, and optimize Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and related services.
The ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience, strong scripting skills in PowerShell (and Python/Bash), and a solid ITIL background.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required in IS/CS or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of related experience in IT/MS 365 administration.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 components and ITIL processes.
Responsibilities
- Administer, maintain, and support Microsoft 365 services (Outlook/Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams).
- Troubleshoot complex issues and provide timely end-user support within SLAs.
- Document incidents, requests, and changes; follow Change Management processes.
- Develop PowerShell scripts to automate admin tasks and reporting.
- Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to support projects.
- Stay current with Microsoft 365 roadmap and security best practices.
