Job summary

Thanx is seeking a Merchant Operations professional to configure merchant setups, linking merchants to POS, ordering, and delivery partners. You will manage loyalty, apps, and online ordering integrations while collaborating with Support, Customer Success, Implementation, Product, and Engineering.

You will handle escalations with data-backed investigations, report bugs to Engineering, and craft clear, actionable updates for merchants. Progression includes owning end-to-end areas within 12 months.

Qualifications

• Experience in a technical support, operations, implementation, or similar role where you diagnosed problems across multiple systems.
• Comfort with data and analysis; SQL is a big plus.
• Experience using AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT to speed up analysis, troubleshooting, or workflows.
• Ability to thrive in a lean, fast-moving environment where priorities shift.

Responsibilities

• Configure merchant setups and link merchants to POS, ordering, and delivery partners.
• Handle escalations from Support and Customer Success; diagnose and report bugs with evidence for Engineering.
• Catch locations that go quiet, integrations that break, and cards that stop transacting.
• Write updates for merchants and teammates that are actionable without a follow-up question.
