Job summary

Thanx is seeking a Merchant Operations engineer to configure loyalty, rewards, and online ordering for restaurant partners. You will work with Implementation and Customer Success to launch merchants and monitor health after go-live.

You’ll investigate issues, build automations, and communicate clear updates to merchants and internal teams, using data-driven insights and AI tools to speed problem solving.

Qualifications

Experience in technical support, operations, or implementation.
Proven track record of root-cause analysis.
Comfort with data; SQL is a big plus.
Strong written communication across technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

Configure merchant setups for loyalty, rewards, app, and online ordering.
Connect integrations to POS, ordering, and delivery partners.
Investigate issues and provide clear bug reports with evidence.
Monitor location health and catch issues before customers report.
Enroll locations with Visa, Mastercard, Amex and troubleshoot payments.
Build automations to reduce repetitive work.
Communicate updates clearly to merchants and teammates.
