Thanx is a remote-friendly company seeking a technical support/operations professional who identifies root causes of merchant issues. You’ll analyze data, explain findings to merchants and teammates, and work with AI-powered monitors and tools to speed resolution.

The role emphasizes automation, clear communication, and collaboration across Implementation, Product, and Engineering. You will adapt to a lean, fast-moving environment and may work evenings or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing problems across multiple systems and finding root causes.
• Ability to explain technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency with SQL and data-driven analysis is a plus.
• Experience using AI tools to speed up analysis or workflows.
• Strong written and verbal communication for merchants and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Configure and troubleshoot merchant setups across loyalty, apps, and online ordering.
• Investigate escalations from Support and Customer Success with evidence.
• Build and improve automations to reduce manual work.
• Communicate updates clearly to merchants and teammates.
• Collaborate with Engineering on bug reports and fixes.
