Job summary

BD is seeking a Technical Support Specialist 2 in Washington, DC to resolve complex, time-sensitive issues, collaborate with ES 1.1x upgrade teams, and provide CSC support to internal peers. The role requires solid SQL/Windows/VMware knowledge and strong communication skills.

You will document case notes, maintain data quality in Salesforce, and adapt to remote and on-site work as needed while supporting BD’s healthcare technology solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of equivalent experience in CS/ET.
• Proficiency with SQL queries and data analysis.
• Experience with SQL Server, SSIS, and SSRS.
• Knowledge of Windows Server and desktop admin.
• Understanding of networking and VMware basics.
• Familiarity with logs, XML, and incident documentation.

Responsibilities

• Resolve complex, time-sensitive issues including escalations.
• Collaborate with ES 1.1x remediation and upgrade teams.
• Provide CSC support to internal peers remotely and on-site as needed.
• Document case notes with high data quality in Salesforce.
• Escalate and communicate updates clearly to customers.
