Job summary

BD is seeking a Technical Support Specialist 2 to assist with ES 1.1x upgrade and remediation efforts. The role requires strong SQL skills, experience with SQL Server tools, Windows Server, IIS, VMware, and excellent customer service while handling escalations.

The position is remote from a home office with potential on-site collaboration. A Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of equivalent experience is expected, and benefits are offered under BD Total Rewards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or 3+ years experience.
• 2+ years of Microsoft SQL experience with queries (SELECT/JOIN).
• SSIS, SSRS, Windows Server, IIS, and VMware experience.
• Familiar with XML and log analysis from applications.
• Strong troubleshooting and case documentation (Salesforce).

Responsibilities

• Assist in resolving complex, time-sensitive issues and escalations.
• Collaborate with ES 1.1x upgrade team for timely support communication.
• Maintain knowledge of ES 1.1x and provide accurate case notes.
• Provide customer service support and effective use of channels.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and quality in remediation efforts.
